REBECCA VERE 

 

Rebecca Vere trained at The Jackie Palmer Stage School and Theatre Arts, London.

Her theatre credits include: Lily Garland in “On the Twentieth Century”  at the Union Theatre,  Soloist in “Beetlemania” at Gothenburg Opera House, Marian in “Robin and the 7 Hoods” at The Venue, Meredith Parker in “Batboy” (nominated as Best Actress In A Musical, Theatregoers Choice Awards 2004) at the West Yorkshire Playhouse and the Shaftesbury Theatre, Sam White in “A Prayer for Owen Meany” and “South Pacific” both at the Royal National Theatre. Jellylorum in “CATS” UK Tour,  Cosette in “Les Miserables”, Palace Theatre, “Beyond The Barricade” on tour and Royal Albert Hall, Jeannie in “Hair” at The Old Vic and Oslo Spektrum, Sally Bowles in “Cabaret” at Queen’s Theatre, Columbia in “Rocky Horror Show” at Duke of York’s, Sue in “Slice of Saturday Night at Arts Theatre, Ellie Greenwich in “Leader of the Pack” at Duke of Yorks, “Aspects of Love” and “Face” UK tours, and a world tour as a principal soloist on the QE2.

She has played principal roles in numerous pantomimes at theatres such as The Watermill-Newbury, Theatre Royal-Windsor, Opera House-Newcastle, Devonshire Park-Eastbourne, Corn Exchange-Newbury, and the Wyllotts Centre-Potters Bar.

Television credits include Eastenders and My Parents are Aliens.

Rebecca also recorded additional vocals for the Les Miserables movie.

Rebecca has also recorded voice overs for the films “Laura’s Star” and “Demon Hunters” and has solo songs on the albums “Hair” and “Beyond The Barricade.” Since having her twins Ed and Maddy she has been in demand as voices for audio books and video games including Harry Potter!
